How to Cancel a Booking

Canceling a reservation is a straightforward process that can be done directly from the dashboard. Our system handles the communication and financial updates automatically based on your selection.
Step-by-Step Cancellation
Navigate to Booking Details: Find the specific booking in your table and click on it to open the Booking Details page.
Select Cancel: Click the red Cancel Booking button located in the top right corner of the header.

Review the Pop-over: A confirmation window will appear displaying the summary of the booking you are about to cancel.

Handling Refunds (Prepaid Bookings)
If the golfer has already paid for the tee time, you will be presented with three refund options. Select the one that aligns with your course's cancellation policy:
Full Refund: Returns the entire amount to the customer's original payment method.
Partial Refund: Allows you to return a specific portion of the total amount.
No Refund: Cancels the reservation but retains the funds.
Once you have made your selection, click the Confirm Cancellation button.
What happens after I confirm?
Once you process the cancellation, the system automatically triggers three key actions:
Tee Sheet Update: The booking is instantly removed or marked as cancelled on your tee sheet, freeing up the slot for other golfers.
Customer Notifications: The user will immediately receive both an Email and a Text Message (SMS) confirming that their booking has been cancelled.
Payment Processing: If a refund was selected, the transaction is initiated automatically through our payment provider.
Note: Refund processing times may vary depending on the customer's bank, typically taking 3-5 business days to appear on their statement.
