The Fallback Number is a crucial safety net for your AI Voice Concierge. It is the phone number the AI uses to instantly forward a caller when a situation requires human intervention or when a golfer explicitly requests to speak with the pro shop.

When does the AI use the Fallback Number?

The AI will automatically transfer the call to your fallback number in scenarios such as:

  • Unresolved Issues: Complex or unusual requests that the AI isn't trained to handle (e.g., a golfer calling to say, "I left my truck keys in the golf buggy!").

  • Direct Request: If a customer simply prefers not to talk to the AI assistant and asks to speak with a staff member.

Step-by-Step: How to Update Your Fallback Number

You can easily manage and update this routing number directly from your v2 Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Settings: Open your dashboard and click on Settings in the lateral menu.

  2. Open Voice Settings: Go to the AI & Automation section and select AI Voice Concierge.

  3. Update the Number: Locate the Fallback Number field and type in the direct phone number for your pro shop or front desk.

  4. Add Extensions (If applicable): If your course routing requires an extension to reach the desk, don't forget to include it in the designated extension field.

  5. Save Changes: Click the Save button to apply the updates instantly.
